Ashwini Choudhary  Ι  President and CEO

Ashwini Choudhary PhotoAshwini is a serial entrepreneur with a strong technical background and significant experience in marketing. He started his career in microprocessor design at Intel and changed gears to work in customer facing technical roles at Quickturn Design Systems and Sun Microsystems. In 1996 he founded Hyperion Technologies, a design verification company. Thereafter he started Aarohi Communications, a storage network processor company, where he was the founding CEO. Aarohi was subsequently acquired by Emulex. Before joining Ventiva he was an Executive-In-Residence at Foundation Capital. Ashwini has a MSEE from Georgia Institute of Technology, and a BSEE from the Manipal Institute of Technology, India.


Dan Schlitz  Ι  PhD, Founder and CTO

Dan Schlitz PhotoDan is the founder and Chief Technical Officer of Ventiva. He leads the Research and Development group which is responsible for inventing next generation Solid State Fan™ technologies. Prior to Ventiva, Dan worked as a Project Leader at General Electric and as a Design Engineer at Rockwell Automation. He has 5 issued patents and 6 patents pending. He has over ten publications in the field of convection cooling and electro-hydrodynamic flow. Dan holds a Ph. D. from Purdue University.


Scott Gooch  Ι  VP Engineering & Manufacturing

Scott Gooch PhotoScott is responsible for all facets of engineering and manufacturing for Ventiva. Prior to Ventiva, Scott was VP of Manufacturing at Santur Corp., a tunable laser supplier to the telecom industry. Before that, Scott held positions as the Director of Wireless Products for STATSChipPAC, Director of Global Operations for RFMD and various engineering positions at Micron Inc. He was responsible for defining and growing a new business unit, built a production operation up from Greenfield in Beijing China and defined development roadmaps, optimized materials and processes, and qualified new products. Scott holds 5 patents and received his BS from Iowa State University.


Frank Howley  Ι  VP Business Development

Frank Howley PhotoFrank is responsible for generating and expanding all customer relationships. He had also been responsible for internal administrative operations of the company in its early days. Prior to Ventiva, Frank has been VP Business Development/ Sales/Marketing for a variety of Silicon Valley start-ups including Airgo Networks where he was responsible for acquiring their first six customers and Atheros Communications (Nasdaq: ATHR) where he was responsible for acquiring first 20 customers and building the sales team that brought them their first $50 Million in revenue. Frank spent much of his career at 3Com Corporation in sales and product management roles. His last job there was Director of Product Management and Business Development in the Business Communications Division. Frank has a MBA from UCLA, a MA from CSULA and a BA with Honors from UCSC.
